Marty Abrams

One of the original kings of business flair, Marty Abrams is the president of the Mego toyline. Marty revolutionized Mego in 1972 by pursuing the licensing rights of popular movies, comics, and TV characters ranging from Marvel and DC, to Star Trek and Happy Days, to the Wizard of Oz and Planet of the Apes.  Abrams was also the brain behind the Micronauts and Action Jackson craze in the late 1970’s. His pursuit of celebrity endorsement and lavish announcement parties were the talk of the toy world and created a legacy around the world.

2018 marks the relaunch of Mego Toys and, in typical Marty Abrams fashion, it’s with an all-out celebration. Marty is teaming up with Supercon to announce the new future for Mego, with spectacular news and character reveals that can only be heard first at Louisville Supercon.

Marty Abrams will be appearing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Louisville Supercon.

Marty Abrams will be signing autographs for free on any Mego figure purchased at the show.  $20 for an autograph on a personal item.

Marty Abrams will take part in a Q&A that will be open to all attendees and included in the price of admission to Louisville Supercon.
